FUSIBLE

We are made of such fusible
 stuff
 that melts to become one.
We blend, coalesce,
amalgamate
like alloys.
                             We unify
                            like Siamese twins,
                            Each connected
                            with the umbilical cord,
                           the life driving force.

As yin and yang,
two forms fused
to become one.
Sphinx
sticking together
for rest of our lives.

                            We are coupled,
As two bodies and one soul.
                            Love, the binder
                           Pull the strings
                           And we stick and bind.

We weld and merge,
leave no space
Not even air to breathe in.
We harmonize,
become euphonic
Alto and soprano,
a par.
                                             We integrate,
                                             Two nucleus
                                             fuse to become a star,
                                             Shine and energize
                                             And make our lives
                                             glow.

WANT TO BREAK THE VICIOUS CYCLE

Want to break the vicious cycle,
Stop wearing masks and faces
that lie.
Break off the shackles
that bind.
Walk nude, pure, unaffected
I don’t know why?

I can’t engrave in time and hide,
                                And mind my mind.
Or bury them, write them off
in the crushing waves of undulated sea.
I have to break open the jar
                                Put the caterpillar free
Break open the cage set the bird free
I hate being cocooned or chained.

I want to have a choice
I have a mind of my own that follows no rhythm n rhyme
Let me bring out the other in me and
have what is only mine.
Let the world beseech me
You can tame me but not my thoughts
Don’t strap me in time and chores
I am a butterfly,
Can’t take my colours away.

Will think like a man and dress like a woman
Be gay, lesbian or eunuch or may be wilder than I
                     play the role I want.
Will eat a snake, lizard and grass
                     I am what I am
So let me break the glass
                     to follow the bohemian path.

Let me open the box
Find treasures and pleasures hidden so old
Come on let me be bold
Bold enough to break the invisible chains.
Oh! women let us change
For once and all
I am calling out
This is the last call.

YOU

You are the first drop of rain
   on the parched earth.
The ray that falls on the expanse
  of white snow clad mountains,
The twirls of wine that supports the fragile.
  The soul that contains
the elixir, frail n what is sublime.
  Euphoria and White Godiva.
 The sacrificing, frail, feminine.
The maudlin smoky clouds after rain
  which in myriad forms
 shower and lose their soul
 to attain what is ephemeral.
The zephyr that soothes away the worry.
Smile that lits the heart of many.
 The plethora of what lies
Deep in the seed of soul.
You are the one of  all.

The Death Wish

          Silence silently creeps in
coiling me tight like a python.
I gasp for breath, holding the reins of life
I hardly can bear the strife.

Death looks beautiful in her bridal attire,
is hugging me with all its vigour.
She is happy to stand by my side.
Melancholy is smiling and glee is despondent.

I want to let go off,
Put my arms above my head in the air and fall.
Jump from a cliff to fly and be free of all.
Of all that binds, to break open the cage.
Let my hair down and see them soar high.

For I was born this way
Life is so callous to stay
To be what I am, seize the cadence
To die the death of a corpse,
                                and still have hopes

The only way to be gay is to embrace the
Sinews of darkness
To hear the lullaby for the last time
 and be in  peace
so that I  wake eternally.
