Hope

 My hope is a seed
An entity
having life of its own
seeded in the fertile ground of my imagination
a thought so powerful
Deep embedded in the inner recesses of my heart
Hiding somewhere between the layers
Of meticulously done clothes
All lined up and settled
Capturing my subconscious
Circumcising my world
translating my dreams
in the unmapped terrain
sitting on the periphery
crying out to become reality.
I reap it with my blood
It sucks me of my patience and vigour
I caress it, nurture it
It tightens its rein
Smothers
Filling shallow grooves of mind
Become one with blood, flesh n soul
With sunshine of my heart and an air of awe
It ripens and grow
sabotaging my free will, and a thinking mind
Reaching for every contour
It could find

Time withers it away
Dried leaves sway
Blown by my aspiration,
 desiccated n hollowed dreams
Jinxed n perturbed
Hope  lies….

Faith and Hope

You give me hope,
I pray
For miracles to play
A role in my life
Hoping for the unpredictable to happen.

               Time passes
               I pray and pray
              Till reality make holes,
              stick fingers into my dreams
              giving me a sterile pain.

               Hope strengthens me
               I live in utopia
               Put faith on my hope
              Drizella and Anastasia
              Fool around me
              Make merry, dance and laugh
              And I, naïve
             Snow White trust them.

 Still i pray harder
Put all my faith on hope
Giving strength to the wicked sisters
I depend upon them
So does the world
To hope is the only hope
or the world would go askew

                           These  misnomers,
                          Juggle with our lives,
shove us off and leave behind
                          Shattering all
                          Making the reality realize
                         The bitterness that bites.

They are dearer
but once the curtain is down
They nudge us
Shaking us, sucking us, snatching away the ground
On which we have stood for ages
Leaving behind the frail humanity to salvage.

To still hope and have faith
                                               find a new silver lining
                                              A ray of hope
                                              colours, brightness and warmth
which may relieve us of our qualms
Still giving us hope for hoping the unsurpassed.

Love, Lust and Lies...

You whisper in my ears
My heart sings a song
Carrying the pleasure
From one part to another
My heart swells and body blossoms
                         You touch me there
                         Enjoy my swells and curves
Follow my convulsions, reading each nook and corner
Reaching out for the inner recesses of hidden pleasures
                         My heart beats a tango
Lying there and waiting for u to come
Come , come along me
This is the realm of love
Let us dance to the rhythm
Sometimes you lead
And sometimes I plead
I breathe in your air
We merge to become one,
 devoured.
                      Peel off the hesitations
                      Enjoy the juices
                     Of our bodies
                     We heave, moan and cry
                     And then take a sigh
We give away our lazy bodies
to the hungers of the flesh .

Then love changes its attire
Wears a lusty hue
 I still lie down
My body breathing your scents
Thinking what I can do best
To make this man mine
 Forever
For my poor soul doesn’t know
You can never bind
A man’s lazy hunger
He would always pine
Till you can give no more
He will find his own ways
Leave you wondering for life
You will mourn, cry and curse
The day you fell in
Love.
Love is a game
Played by all without the rules
lust and deception are still the same
We all play and don’t rest
Till it dies its own death.
