For my baby

There is something in the air today
That embalms to the core this day
Feel cocooned with warmth and love as u say
I try hard to cut the umbilical cord
it won't give up, no way
Ah! Sabotaging second every second of my life
and breadth
But still mothering you, my baby
I am gayest of the gay
Your hugs and smiles enliven my soul everyday
And that naughty twinkle in your eyes spark
life in me again
How can  I stay away?
I cannot thank you enough, my baby
For making me feel like the mother earth
who dissolves to nurture the seed
And somehow still stay at bay

The Doll

The clay moulded into a doll
Dances to the tune
Deafened , dumbed
I whirl in a spree

Life

The back of life
shows off the scratches of time
Deafened screams,
haunted hollow dreams
troubled tresses of fate
now dead and buried deep....
Blurred truth and visible lies
fast loosening ties
the eternal flashy shroud
the morbid veil,
now flesh is on sale.
                 The back of life
shows off the scratches of time.

Freeze it!

Sitting here by the window, peeping life by the road, men and machines moving together, and watching my little one grow like a climber, and seconds into years, freezing this moment forever in the cubes of my memory

Clouds

Clouds flowering, masks the light of God, mightier wind
casts away the wooly bed of softness....
The busy eyed and cloud minded cannot feel the warmth of the day.

Dreams

Dreams knock the door of reality
May I come in?
Illusive mind welcomes, for a while
plunges and drowns
Thoughts sleeping breathe and  sigh!
Stick and gulp, taking the form and shape
the jelly mind
knit the colourful web giving eyes to the blind
Smoothing the sharp claws of reality that once gripped
my awakened mind.

Smothering

  My trembling existence
Shivering realities
fading hopes
struggling dreams
collapsing dilemmas.
Things on the surface are not
what they seem
Form smothers and tumbles
to hold fast the reins
and stand the ground

The longing!

Moonstruck, love driven,
I stand in front of the mirror
All dipped in the pool of narcissism,
Facade so beautifully tidied up,
Not a tremor of pain visible.
Time sheds charm like a snake's skin,
Hug and kiss poison with in me
           Mirroring my blurred contours
           I search for my shape
A longing with an eternal wait, to fill
The grooves that loneliness has made.
Unworthy through the eyes of men
I am no more
It is not me....
