Life swirls in the hand
of a child like a pin wheel,
turns and turns in a gyre.
Whirling blades by the motion of wind,
each blade sways me to the future
replaced by another,
pushing the past behind,
twist and turns in vortex of mind.
Destined frail life,
the tearless dreams,
all scribble , stain, draw with a nib
dipped in the ink of reality,
to enliven the pages of our memory.
We crumple and chuck out the bitter behind
or leave the paper dead and white
in the anticipation of future,
for life to write something sweet and better.
Origami of life is hard to unfold,
heaps of happiness and mountains of gloom
all loom and swirl with the swirling pin wheel
in the hands of the child.
